Beyond Rubik’s Cube
I worked closely with a team of visual designers and engineers to create two immersive media experiences for the world's first museum exhibition all about the Rubik's Cube puzzle.
Created by Liberty Science Center and currently traveling the world, the exhibition contains 7,000 sq. ft. of games, puzzles, history, art, and engineering — all inspired by Erno Rubik's best-selling masterpiece.
A large-scale, interactive wall challenges visitors to test their pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, and short-term memory skills in a series of gesture-based games.
We designed an immersive environment with programmable LED lights and music. Visitors create original musical tracks by twisting an oversized Rubik’s Cube while the LED array responds to their creations.
This project was completed in-house at Unified Field.
Exhibit design and content development was done in-house by Liberty Science Center.
